Favorite/most memorable win in the arena: Well, it was a little while ago now but I would say when I won the National High School Finals Rodeo in the breakaway roping. There were multiple factors going on that week to contribute to this win and I always look back on it and remember how crazy that week was. One reason, I could not catch a calf at the jackpots that week. I was so frustrated and fighting my head so much, but I was always proud of myself because when I was up at the rodeo, I forgot about all those calves I had been missing, focused on good runs, and moved on. I came to the short go 3rd high call. The day of the short go, my breakaway horse was all of a sudden completely lame. My mom and I prayed over him all day, and when I went to catch him before the short round, he was sound and ready to go! So to me, it’s also a memory of how good God was to us that day. Long story, but I went on to win the high school finals that night and it is one of my favorite memories to this day!
Biggest disappointment in the arena: I was high call in the breakaway roping at the College National Finals rodeo and I basically had to catch to win, and I missed. It was a hard one to move on from!
Biggest accomplishment out of the arena: Becoming a mom in August of 2017. Greatest thing that I have ever been able to do!
